 Pictured is the National Guard Armory with Firefighter Gene Riggs. Firefighter Riggs was buried beneath a collapsed brick wall from this structure and survived the incident. He later became Fire Chief.

Pictured here is the Alimar Theater ablaze. The Alimar Theatre was located in downtown Live Oak and was opened in 1922. The Alimar Theatre burned in the 1970’s.
