RFQ’s/Bids/RFP’sADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The City of Live Oak, Florida (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Potable Water Line Improvements ITB #03‐2024 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Live Oak City Hall located at 101 White Avenue SE, Live Oak, Florida 32064, until September 19, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: Replacing existing undersized water mains with six-inch PVC water mains in two separate project areas. The first project area includes work on Main Street from Lee Avenue to Jackson Avenue and Ruby Street from Jackson Avenue to Ingleside Drive. The second project area includes work on Louis Avenue and Richardson Avenue from 8th Street to 6th Street and Lincoln Avenue and Taylor Avenue from Douglas street to 7th Street. The work includes the abandonment of existing water main, the installation of water main, installation of fire hydrants, tapping existing water mains, reconnecting water services and site/pavement restoration. Bids are requested for the following Contract: ITB‐03‐2024, Potable Water Line Improvements. The Project has an expected duration of 180 calendar days. Obtaining the Bidding Documents Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be obtained from the City of Live Oak, by emailing: Doris McMurry Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the City as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Pre‐bid Conference A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Live Oak City Hall, 101 White Avenue SE, Live Oak, Florida 32064. Bids will only be accepted from Bidders who attend the pre-bid conference.
