Our Programs and Services

Neighborhood Watch

Neighborhood Watch is a voluntary program organized by concerned citizens to reduce crime in their communities.  Working together with law enforcement agencies, citizens can learn when and how to report suspicious activities, assist in property identification, conduct home security surveys and implement home security measures and precautions.

Neighborhood Watch meetings offer valuable information that helps neighbors cooperate effectively with one another. It promotes security practices, makes more observant and caring neighbors, and boots cooperation between citizens and law enforcement.

How can I start a program in my area?

Any resident of the city can begin a program in their neighborhood. Contact the Live Oak Police Department to take action in your area. We can aid in training members and assist you in organizing a program that is tailored for your neighborhood. Early detection is the best way to prevent the onset of bigger problems.
